This place sucks. Their food is good. As a poor person I don’t like spending money. This place forces me to spend money due to their great offerings. Warning to anyone traveling through Perrin. Stay away. You will want to come back. DO NOT EAT THE MEATBALL SANDWICHES, my wife loves them and we want to make sure they are available.
Was heading down to Austin on Highway 281, drove right by a cool-looking food truck on the side of the road, and turned right back around. So glad we did! Slick Willie’s is awesome; great food and a couple of really nice folks running it. Had the Mother Clucker sandwich with a side of macaroni salad and some gumbo, all of which was extremely good. And you get a ton of food for the price. Slick Willie’s is a must stop if you’re traveling on Highway 281 in north Texas!
Love this place. Cuban sandwiches are the best ever. All meats hand trimmed and each sandwich made to order. Takes a minute but we’ll worth the wait.
